Starting his musical career at Orange Studios in Soho, Haydn then went on to work as a piano tuner for Steinway & Sons until an opportunity arose at Abbey Road Studios where he worked for seventeen years, the last ten as chief engineer. In 1991 he decided to pursue a freelance career. As a result of working at Abbey Road for such a length of time Haydn was introduced to quite possibly the widest selection of music and productions that any studio in the world could offer. His discography is extensive and credits endless.
Haydn has just finished recording and mixing tracks in London and Paris with French artist Clemence who is signed to Sellaband. In addition he recently recorded the soundtrack for the film ‘Our Lady of Victory’ at Abbey Road Studios for award winning composer and arranger Bill Ross. Other recent projects include engineering tracks for Chris Botti and Bobby Colomby, Mike Batt, Mike Hedges and Steve Mac for X Factor.
