THE 2009 ROSTER HAYDN BENDALL - Producer/Mixer/Engineer
Haydn started his musical career at Orange Studios in
Soho and then went on to work as a piano tuner for Steinway &
Sons. This led to an opportunity at Abbey Road Studios where he worked for seventeen years, the last ten as chief engineer, and during this time was introduced to quite
possibly the widest selection of music and productions that any studio
in the world could offer. In 1991 Haydn pursued a freelance career but continues to return to Abbey Road frequently. His discography is extensive and credits
endless.
Haydn's recent credits include engineering and mixing tracks for the forthcoming album 'Harmony' by The Priests (Sony)and the debut album for Camila Kerslake (Mercury). Haydn has also been busy engineering and mixing tracks for the Vatican and the soon to be released album 'Alma Mater' featuring thevoice of Pope Benedict XVIas well as recording orchestral tracks for 'My Christmas' by Andrea Bocelli and mixing tracks for Siphiwo Ntshebe
Drew is currently mixing tracks for Queensberry. Other recent projects include mixing tracks for SuperJupiter (Planet Clique), Jes (Black Hole Recordings) and Cunnie Williams (Universal).
Drew has worked on many 5.1 projects and credits include production & mix for the OST of the film ‘Snowcake’ starring Sigourney Weaver and Alan Rickman with Canadian band Broken Social Scene as well as programming/engineering credits on DVD's for Led Zeppelin‘The Song RemainsThe Same’ and 'How The West Was Won', Metallica: The Videos 1989-2004, Iron Maiden‘Death on the Road’ and ‘Life After Death’ and Kanye West‘Late Orchestration’ (live).
Richard Rainey is a London based Producer/Mixer from Ireland. Richard recently engineered and mixed tracks on the latest U2 album 'No Line OnThe Horizon' with Producers Daniel Lanois, Brian Eno and Steve Lillywhite. Other credits include production and mix for the Grand Avenue (EMI) album 'The Outside' and production & mix of the debut albums for The Aliens (Parlophone), The Fallout Trust (EMI) & The Chalets (V2).
Richard won 3 Grammys for his work on the 11 million selling U2 album ‘All That You Can’t Leave Behind’ winning Record of the Year 2000 for ‘Beautiful Day’ and Record of the Year 2001 ‘Walk On’ and Rock Album of the Year 2001. In addition, he produced dance remixes of both ‘Beautiful Day’ (as one half of remix duo Quincey & Sonance) and ’Elevation' for U2 single releases. In 2005 Richard did all the broadcast mixing for U2 including live shows for Radio 1, BBC TV, MTV USA and the Grammy Awards 2005.
Kevin Shirley is a US based Producer/Mixer and is currently working with Joe Bonamassa and Iron Maiden. Recent credits include mixing ‘Revelation’ for Journey, mixing the DVD 'The Song Remains The Same' for Led Zeppelin, production and mix of 'Sloe Gin' for Joe Bonamassa and surround mixing for the DVD of Metallica: The Videos 1989-2004.
